I got this brochure,
From one of the art house,
In Klang Valley area...
Pretty interesting stages,
For drawing development in children....
The scribbling stage,
The stage of symbols,
Pictures that tell stories,
The schematic stage,
The stage of complexity,
The stage of realism,
The crisis period,
The period of decision...
My son is definitely in Pictures that tell stories stage...
At four or five(He's only 3 now. Cool!),
The children begin to tell stories,
Or work out problems with their drawings.
Changing basic forms as needed to express meaning.
Often once the problem is expressed,
The child feels better able to cope with it.
